Photo Shoot

Jules had her first photo shoot yesterday! My wonderful sister in-law came over and took some pictures for her birth announcements and Valentine's Day cards. Julianna was a great little model! Here are a few pictures from the day. <3

1 week

Jules is one week old today! I can't believe I have been a mom for one week already...crazy! Julianna is such a good baby! She is so peaceful and only fusses when she has a dirty diaper. The doggies have been so good with her, I was surprised they did so well when we brought her home. They love sniffing her and giving her the occasional lick on the foot! Today she had her 1 week checkup and she was a perfect little angel! The doctor said she is healthy and everything looked great! She is back up to her birth weight of 7.2! A Star is Born

After laboring a long 36 hours, and being given 2 rounds of cervidil,9 hours of pitocin and having

my water broken, I still had only dialated to 2cm. I was exhausted, Chad was exhausted and I'm sure my baby was exhausted. My doctor finally decided it was time for a c-section. So finally with much anticipation at 2:35pm on January 28, 2010 Julianna Rose made her long awaited debut!!

Tick tock...

That is one of the sounds I am hearing in my head right now. Why? Because I am scheduled to be induced tonight! ::gulp:: Our doctor is estimating the baby to be at least 8lbs or more! So he recommended that we move things along and get her out before she gets bigger! Am I nervous? Yes! Am I anxious? Yes! Are we ready? I hope so, because at midnight there is no turning back!! So we have spent the majority of yesterday and today making sure everything is clean and packed. The dogs know something is going on, they are acting just as anxious as us. I think they can feel the change coming.
So with these last few hours at home, I am trying not to stress out and just enjoy our time together...just the 2 of us. It is so surreal to know when we leave our house tonight we will leave as 2 and will come back home as 3! Amazing.Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
