Wordless Wednesday

3-D baby!

We got another 3-D ultrasound and it was amazing! I love seeing my little girl. The ultrasound was a week ago and at that time when the tech was doing her measurements we found out that our little girl weighs 4lbs 11oz and is measuring 2 weeks ahead!!! WOW!! Now I am just anxious to see when she actually feels like making her debut!

Maternity clothes? just my jeans still. I really don't feel like buying tons of maternity stuff!
Sleep:still have my twice a night potty break
Best moment this week: hearing her perfect 154bpm heartbeat at my appt. I could listen all day!
Movement: All the time, but she really has a party at night
Food cravings: peanut butter & apples, mexican food!! yummy!

Belly Button in or out? innie, but has lost some depth
What I am looking forward to: my baby shower in a few weeks!!!
Milestones: having a Dr. appt. every 2 weeks now... yikes!

Thankful

I never thought I could love someone so much without ever even meeting them, but everyday I find myself falling more in love than I was the day before- Thankful for My precious baby girl, I love you and keep growing healthy and strong.






I am SO incredibly thankful for my amazing husband. Words could never express how much I love him.

Crying in Target

Crying in Target? You are probably asking yourself - who cries in Target? and I would be thinking the same thing because Target is one of my "Happy places", but when you are 7 months pregnant its hard to stop the tears when they start flowing!
My little tear fest was caused by reading a book, not just any book, a kids book, one that I remember my mom reading to me when I was younger. So as I am reading all I can think about is my mom reading this book to me and me reading this book to my daughter. I can feel the tears start to collect in my eyes and I try to blink them away, but as i kept reading I couldn't stop them from rolling down my face. I think the book does a great job conveying to little ones just how much their mom (or dad) loves them no matter how old they get. Reading it from a mother's point of view is different. My little baby is still growing inside of me and it is hard to put into words just how much I love her, and how much I will always love her no matter how old she is. And of course, 50 years from now she will still be my baby. <3

Gliding in style

I think I have finally found a glider that is both stylish and functional! I have been searching for one for a few months now, i found a few that I liked and could live with but this one made me swoon! Now I know it may not look like something one might put in a nursery but I think it compliments our decor very nicely and when we no longer need it for the nursery we can always use it to go along with our family room furniture! Now that is what you call money very well spent!!

Back to school...

Well, I guess its not really "school", as its just 5 classes. That's right, we have our first Prepared Childbirth class tonight! ::eeekkk:: We go every Thursday for 2.5 hours for the next 5 weeks!! With this milestone, it has reminded me that my due date is coming quickly and I am both nervous and excited! Wish us luck for tonight!!!

Go Away!!

Dear Nose,
Why are you bleeding? Please go away and never return EVER! Now I know that might be hard for you to handle since you and I have developed quite the relationship over the past few months. I had 22 wonderful years without you and seeing you on weekly basis is just not necessary. Please nose, just work with me and blood stay where you belong, inside my body! Thankyouverymuch <3

154 days down...

98 to go! WOW! I can't believe I am already under the 100 day mark! It seems like time is just flying by. I am so blessed that everything with my pregnancy has been such smooth sailing, my baby is healthy and I have been feeling great!

3-D

This is my sweet little love bug in 3-D @ 23 weeks & 4 days. She was sooo active it was hard for the tech to get really great pictures. I think we are going to have our hands full...she seems like a feisty one!!

We bought furniture...

Well, our parents did!! This was a great gift and it is so much appreciated! We are picking up the crib, 5 drawer dresser,combo dresser and mattress tomorrow! We had to special order the hutch and the toddler bed railings. I hope to have them by December! I'm so excited to start getting the nursery started. I'm hoping we are able to start putting the furniture together ASAP! Here is the collection we decided on. It has a black cherry finish. I love the leg detail! Oh and did I mention that they were having a pretty awesome sale? The crib was regular price but all the additional furniture was 50% off!!!


My parents were also so kind to get us the bedding set! The set was also 25% off...AMAZING!! Our set is Ladybug Lullabye by NoJo. I L-O-V-E it! We are now on the hunt for a glider!

365 days of marriage!

Wow! We have been married for one year today! I can not believe how fast it has flown by. Here we are a year later with a precious baby girl on the way! So much has happened this year alone I can only imagine what our future holds. I am so blessed to have a such an amazing husband, who is always loving me and making sure I am happy. I thank God every day for bringing him into my life! I'm sure the best is yet to come!!

Best moment this week: Finding out we are having a girl! Watching her dance around at the ultrasound.

What I am looking forward to: our 3-D ultrasound in October!
Weekly Wisdom: Do not go to Disneyland when your pregnant and it is 100 degrees...it is miserable!

The results are in....

That's right we are having a little Princess! We are thrilled! We found out on Thursday and we revealed the news to our families on Saturday. Here are some pics from the day......

the cake held our "secret"! Everyone was shocked to see pink because most were expecting to see blue!!

Excited!

It is going to be hard to sleep tonight. Why? You ask, well we get to find out if we are having a handsome little prince or a sweet little princess!! We will be happy with whatever God blesses us with. We just want our little babe to be healthy! It seems like most in our family have been guessing boy,we however have been saying girl. At least one of us will be right! :o)

11 Months!

Today is our 11th month of being husband and wife. I can't believe next month it will be a full year since we said "I do". In some ways it feels like we have been married longer and in others it feels like we just got home from our beautiful wedding.
What are we doing for our anniversary day? Shopping for some maternity clothes of course!! I haven't gained any weight yet, which is a pleasant surprise but as the weeks go by my uterus is growing more and more. So wearing my pre-baby jeans have become quite uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure it is not recommended to squish the baby while in the womb, so with this, my journey into the land of maternity clothes begins!!! Wish me luck!
